Former Philippians Got Talent winner Jovit Baldivino has died aged 29:
Filipino musician Jovit Baldivino, who won the
first Philippians Got Talent series in 2010, died Thursday at the age of 29.
Baldivino suffered from high blood pressure and
was told to rest by his doctor, but accepted an
invitation to a Christmas event in the city of Batangas on 4 December.
He sang three songs, and on the third, you could see he was out of breath. Soon after, he was taken to
the hospital and scans showed a blood clot in his brain, a sign of an
aneurysm.
A brain hemorrhage put him in a coma for five days, but he died on Thursday.
His fiancĂ© made a series of posts on Facebook after the news was announced. “Miss
a PO Kita, love ko (I miss you so much already, my love),” she said.
Baldivino shot to fame when he won the first season of Philippians
Got Talent in 2010 when he was just 19 years old. Soon after, he released his first full-length album, Faithful, followed by three more albums between 2011 and 2015.
