How to Watch the Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs:
The Kansas City Chiefs are back on the road
for their Week 15 game against the Houston Texans after narrowly defeating the
Denver Broncos in Week 14.
Houston, 1-11-1, has had a difficult year
under head coach Lovie Smith, and the team is a few games out of the playoff
picture. Houston is a team with the poorest record in the league
and was just one play away from upsetting the Dallas Cowboys a week ago. That
being said, several players will be out from this week's game against the
Chiefs, including cornerbacks Steven Nelson and Derek Stingley Jr., running
back Dameon Pierce, and wide receivers Nico Collins, and Brandin Cooks. The task
ahead of the Texans is undoubtedly tricky.
No matter how the Los Angeles Chargers
perform later in the day, Kansas City will have secured its ninth consecutive
AFC West title with a victory. A win is necessary for Patrick Mahomes and
company to maintain their lead over the Buffalo Bills at the top of the
conference; a defeat would seriously harm the Chiefs' hopes of earning a
first-round bye. Houston will put up a strong fight even though the
visitors are widely favored and clearly have the advantage in talent and health
in this match.
The play-by-play announcers for the Sunday
afternoon broadcast will be Kevin Harlan and Trent Green, while Melanie Collins
will handle the sidelines. Officials Carl Chaffers and his team will oversee
the contest.
